About Bria



Bria Gadsden is a public health professional with over 10 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector. As a menstrual equity and social justice advocate, Bria is a true community champion who drives social change through innovation, community empowerment, and resource connection.
During her time as a resident in North Andover and one of 3 founders of Merrimack Valley Black and Brown Voices, Bria advocated for equity and created space for other Black and Brown people to live and thrive in the Merrimack Valley. Bria now serves on the Board of Directors of MVBBV where she helps provide general oversight and accountability.
Bria Gadsden is the Co-Founder of Love Your Menses, where she is a leader in driving menstrual equity across Massachusetts and other areas. Bria is also currently a Program Officer at VentureWell where she supports global innovators and entrepreneurs in science and technology. Bria is a graduate of UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science and Nutrition and Merrimack College with a Master's degree in Community Health.
