Art in the Open: Conversations, Hand Lettering, and Social Justice

The Trustees is teaming up with Merrimack Valley Black & Brown Voices and Sage & Oak Creative to bring you an afternoon of conversation and creativity in the name of social justice in the gardens of The Stevens-Coolidge Place. Everyone interested in spreading messages of anti-racism are welcome, no artistic ability required. In this intimate afternoon program, participants can enjoy a hand lettering workshop with Sydney of Sage & Oak Creative (all materials provided) and a facilitated conversation around anti-racism and social justice led by Mayara, Elizabeth and Bria of Merrimack Valley Black & Brown Voices. Leave the afternoon with a personal work of art, renewed perspective in the fight against white supremacy and additional reading resources to keep you moving forward.
