Mayara was born in Rio DeJaneiro, Brazil, and was raised in North Andover, MA. She graduated from North Andover high school, and attends University of Massachusetts Lowell as a Criminal Justice major with a focus in Crime and Mental Health. Mayara is a paralegal and aspiring attorney.

During her free time, Mayara enjoys web designing, blogging, singing, and inspiring others to grow in their businesses. As a young, Black, and Latina woman in North Andover, she is committed to providing resources to the Black and Brown community for endless opportunities in the Merrimack Valley.
